Stropping & Polishing Compound
Take your edge further. This 3-compound set is designed to refine, polish, and maintain your knife’s edge with precision. Whether you're finishing after stones or just maintaining between sharpenings, these compounds give you full control over your edge refinement.
• Brown Compound (Coarse – ~500–800 grit)
For light edge correction and initial refinement. Great after lower grit stones.
• Black Compound (Medium – ~800–1000 grit)
Bridges the gap between sharpening and polishing. Smooths and refines the edge.
• White Compound (Fine – ~1200–1500 grit)
For final polishing. Enhances sharpness and gives a clean, crisp finish.
Apply directly to leather (strop, paddle, or block).
Use them individually or as a progression—each one stepping you closer to a cleaner, sharper, more refined edge. Best Progression: Brown → Black → White
These compounds help remove micro-burrs, clean up your edge, and improve cutting feel without going back to stones.
Use each compound on a separate surface for best results.
